HEN and WhyWaste

The Humber Environmental Network (HEN) is pleased to be involved with the Bradford Environmental Action Trust (BEAT) in supporting the WhyWaste scheme in the Humber sub-region, and will be holding a unique roadshow in early 2010.

 

The WhyWaste roadshow presents companies with the opportunity to have a FREE consultation on their premises about their waste, redundant stock or surplus raw materials and to then use the on-line exchange system to look for cost-effective solutions.

A monthly follow-up will be included to update companies on progress and review other resource issues. Successful REACH Conference

‘Pre-registration is behind us, and now the hard work of complying with REACH really begins’.  That was the message of the REACH Post Pre-registration Conference held at The University of Hull on 13th January this year.    This successful conference, which folows on from the success of the unique REACH training course, was attended by 55 delegates from across the EU and as far away as Korea, China and the USA, was to take stock of the REACH implementation process to date, and look forward to what lies ahead.
