Show Me the Money!
Monday, 30 November 2009

As the start to the New Year approaches and budgets are being set, all businesses may be wondering where they can get assistance towards their environmental improvement programmes. “Show me the Money” will outline financial support packages which are either immediately available or will be open to applications early in the New Year.

The first session looks at financial packages available to all businesses focussing specifically on CO2Sense Yorkshire’s Innovative Projects scheme which will open in January 2010 and the Carbon Trust’s Interest Free loan scheme.

Following the coffee break, two schemes which are specifically available to small and medium enterprises will be discussed. These are the Business Resource Efficiency Improvement Grant (BREIG) which can help towards capital purchases, consultancy and training, administered by YFM. The other scheme is the Innovation Vouchers which can grant businesses up to £3000 of support from approved research providers. Administered by Business Link Yorkshire, this is designed to allow companies to carry out research into new and innovative approaches to their business.

Wednesday December 16th. CATCH Facility, Stallingborough
Thursday December 17th. Map Room, The University of Hull
Friday December 18th. Sewerby Hall; Bridlington
