ETCIC is delighted to announce that Amanda Foulkes has joined the team to work on the TESS European Sixth Framework project. With the objective of developing a toolbox to evaluate sustainable systems, particularly for SME's, the project brings together academic institutes, industry action groups and SME's from across the whole of the European Union.

With an initial primary focus on the REACH Chemicals regulation, Amanda will lead ETCIC in the work package entitled "Legislation Watch". Amanda joins with a background of implementing integrated quality, health and safety systems in a number of industries and has an excellent knowledge of the impact that a regulation such as REACH can have on a company. Upon her appointment, Amanda stated, "I'm delighted to join ETCIC and the wider TESS team. I am looking forward to helping clarify the obligations that REACH places on industry and providing advice on how best to comply with this very significant piece of legislation which comes into force in the very near future".
