REACH Module 1 - The Regulatory Framework and REACH Project Management

The new European Chemicals Regulation REACH (The Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation of Chemicals) came into force on 1 June 2007 and you cannot afford to ignore it!

Aimed at those in industry charged with planning for REACH compliance, the first module sets the scene by providing an overview of the legislative background that led to its development.

Delegates will then learn about how to make an initial assessment of the implications of REACH through the whole supply chain and how it links with classification and labelling according to the GHS system.

There is no doubt that Professor Lynne Frostick's work has been of incredible value to the University of Hull, given her wealth of knowledge and expertise in environmental sciences. So, it is hardly surprising that the ETCIC's very own 'environmental superwoman' has recently been recognised by the Nominating Council for the prestigious 2006 Women of the Year Awards which will take place on Monday 16 October 2006 at The Millennium Mayfair in London.
