REACH Module 2 - Testing and Data Analysis - SIEF Technical Tools

This module looks at how substances are defined under REACH, provides the methodologies necessary to determine whether testing of substances falling under the scope of REACH is necessary, how to carry out such tests, and produce the Chemical Safety Assessment (CSA) required by REACH. This training provides delegates with the essential technical tools required to operate effectively within a SIEF.

Delegates will learn methodologies for conducting data searches and conducting physico-chemical, environmental and toxicological tests. The results of tests are then examined to allow delegates to determine appropriate hazard classification and labelling and identify data gaps, or provide justification to waive additional testing.
