ETCIC is pleased to announce that they will be one of the speakers at an event aimed at increasing awareness of waste issues for industry in the East Riding.
There are a number of changes in relation to the ways that businesses have to deal with their waste and you need to be aware of these. The East Riding of Yorkshire Council are hosting a FREE Business Waste Seminar on 31st October 2007 at the Beverley Leisure Centre. This is a full day event with refreshments and lunch provided free of charge. The event is sponsored by the Business Resource Efficiency and Waste Programme. The aim of the seminar is to help local businesses save money and comply with legislation by managing their waste streams in a more efficient way. Themes will include ways in which businesses can reduce their waste costs; complying with current legislation and waste swap initiatives. Other speakers at this event will include the Environment Agency, Recycling Action Yorkshire (RAY), Envirowise and BREW, and Waste Recycling Action Programme (WRAP). This Event is open to all small and medium sizes businesses from within the East Riding and is targeted towards those responsible for managing their organisations waste.
