ETCIC launches impressive new website
Thursday, 20 July 2006

The University of Hull's Environmental Technologies Centre of Industrial Collaboration (ETCIC) launched their impressive new website www.etcic.com earlier this week.

With environmental issues at the top of their agenda, the ETCIC team have worked with Spiral Communications Ltd, a Leeds based company specialising in design and advertising, to develop a comprehensive and sustainable resource which is easily accessible to a wide-ranging business audience.

Dr David Calvert, Commercial Manager of ETCIC commented: "We are delighted with the new website which promotes the importance of sustainable resources whilst being an extremely informative and effective form of communication, particularly in today's hectic business climate."

The site provides clear and helpful information on the range of technologies offered by ETCIC, who work with companies to enhance their profitability by driving down wastage and reducing the use of raw materials.

Dane McGee, Director of Spiral Communications Ltd, supported the need for comprehensive and sustainable methods of communications for businesses: "We were very clear about the design of the website so that it effectively promoted the key messages of ETCIC. It incorporates clean and fresh images which correspond with their environmentally friendly approach to business solutions."

The website will be regularly updated with the latest developments and news from the ETCIC, so that visitors to the site can easily access specific information or alternatively gain a general understanding of what the team offer.

Operating as a one-stop shop solution to resolve complex environmental issues that affect businesses in a variety of sectors, ETCIC understand that it is vitally important that the next generation realise the impact of their activities upon the environment as soon as possible and therefore adopt a proactive approach in educating tomorrow's consumers.
